Tim Hogan on Bass

Tim Hogan was born Oct 21 1956 in Antigo Wisconsin. At the age of 14 in 1970 Tim stumbled across a Bass player named Mel Schacher the Bassist for Grand Funk Railroad a Rock Band out of Flint Michigan. Tim couldn’t believe all the attention the Bass guitar was getting with that band. Tim’s been playing the Bass Guitar now for 38 years all self taught. Tim was part of a locally known band called SunnyJim for 10 years where they played all the major casinos up and down the I-5 corridor. Tim’s played many styles of music in many different venues from small Clubs, Casinos to opening for National Acts such as the Doobie Brothers, Marshall Tucker band and the Edger Winter group. Tim’s Current line up in the Bass world is as follows - 12string, 8string, 5string, fretless and 4string Bass guitars. In the Amp arena Ampeg it’s what you want to feel. Tim hooked up with Rikk Beatty a phenomenal Guitarist out of Olympia WA in 2007 and is currently a part of the Rikk Beatty Band.

Chris Shealy is the band’s drummer. He was born September 8th 1965. He has been playing drums since 1984. He is a completely self taught drummer and has lived in Washington State since 1982.

His first serious band was “Emphasis” who opened up for such national acts as Forced Entry, Bad Brains, Raw Head, Sanctuary, and Zakk Wylde. After that he spent much time as a studio session player and recorded an album with the band Sister Moon who was signed to Veiled Alliance Records.  He was in a very popular Tacoma band called “Feast of Friends” and opened for former Guns and Roses bass player Duff McKagan’s band “Loaded” and were featured on 104.9 FM Funky Monkey.

Chris has done extensive West Coast tours with his last band MTF and had a European distribution deal through “Two Fat Guys”.  He joined The Rikk Beatty Band in 2008 and the rest is…. the future.

Chris plays a custom built 5 piece drum set and uses Sabian cymbals, Pro Mark drum sticks, and Aquarian heads with all Pearl hardware.
